From local owner-surrenders, to animal control seizure, to abondoned horses in the Weber Mountains, we have seen just about everything. Careful evalutation of each unique situation is important to ensure the best road to recovery for these animals. We work with local livestock authorities to ensure the proper protocol is followed when rescuing each horse.

Horses come in all shapes and sizes, and so do their ailments. The most common forms of neglect we see are inadequate diet, lack of hoof care (farrier), and untreated injuries. We work closely with multiple proffessional veterinarians to verify the animals quality of life and rehabilitation plan.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”|700|||||||” text_text_color=”#5A0C1C” text_font_size=”25px” custom_padding=”0px||10px||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Rehome

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.1″ _module_preset=”_initial” text_font=”||||||||” text_text_color=”#5A0C1C” text_font_size=”16px” header_3_text_align=”left” header_4_text_align=”left” header_5_text_align=”left” header_6_text_align=”left” global_colors_info=”{}”]

When horses are fully rehabilitated we can advertise them for adoption. We have an adoption application process that allows us to screen each applicant for the right qualities that will provide a forever home for the horse. Unfortunately we do have to turn some applicants away but in the end we always find the perfect home. And if adopters decide the horse isnt the right fit we encourage them to bring them back to us.

By providing sanctuary for horses to live out their days in a open pasture with their herd. We need your help to continue providing shelter and security for these sanctuary horses!
